Summary
Assist in carrying out the housekeeping function for the manufacturing plant.

This person must create an atmosphere of cleanliness and reflect in a positive manner a wholesome, hygienic presentation and environment.


Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the lunchroom by sweeping and wet mopping floors, cleaning tables, chairs, and appliances, and emptying trash containers.
  • Cleaning and maintaining locker rooms, including sweeping and wet mopping floors, cleaning sinks, toilets, and urinals, and replenishing supplies.
  • Properly disposing of trash and recycling materials in designated areas.
  • Ensuring housekeeping storage areas are clean, organized, and wellmaintained.
  • Keeping all housekeeping equipment in clean and working condition.
  • Reporting safety hazards and the need for repairs in maintained areas.
  • Request supplies and equipment as necessary for cleaning and maintenance duties.
  • Reporting any signs of insects or rodents.
  • Adhering to all policies and procedures established by Trident Maritime Systems
  • CAC.
  • Additional responsibilities, as needed.

  • Meticulous attention to detail.

  • Exceptional cleaning skills, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining a pristine environment.
  • Enthusiasm for performing physically demanding housekeeping tasks.
  • Outstanding ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • A track record of being able to stand, stoop, bend, and stretch for extended periods comfortably.
  • Consistent achievement of productivity standards and prioritizing quality.
  • A strong commitment to following instructions, responding to management guidance, taking ownership of actions, meeting commitments, and being open to overtime when necessary to achieve objectives.

Education and/or Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Previous Housekeeping Experience
  • Knowledge of Cleaning Techniques
  • Teamwork and Communication Skills
  • Safety Awareness
