    Description

    Title: Manager - Human Resources

    Work Schedule: Hybrid - 2 days per week

    Compensation: $95,000

    Location: Chicago, IL

    Summary of the Role:

    The Human Resources Manager plays a pivotal role in the team by providing guidance and assistance in critical HR functions. Responsibilities involve managing employee relations, supervising talent development and training, conducting job evaluations, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The HR Manager is also responsible for handling workers' compensation, benefits administration, and employee growth initiatives. Furthermore, they contribute to special projects by providing coaching and evaluations to enhance overall workplace efficiency.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise the complete employee journey, which includes recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, and offboarding processes.
    • Handle employee relation matters such as conflict resolution, disciplinary procedures, and complaints, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal guidelines.
    • Devise and implement training schemes to improve employee competencies and knowledge, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
    • Lead the administration of compensation and benefits, including salary comparisons, incentive schemes, and wellness programs.
    • Ensure conformity with all federal, state, and local labor legislations, staying updated on alterations and proactively addressing any compliance concerns.
    • Collaborate with the corporate HR unit on schemes, projects, and best practices to elevate HR standards across the organization.
    • Cultivate a favorable and inclusive workplace environment, advocating for diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
    • Engage with plant management on safety strategies and programs, guaranteeing a secure and healthy work atmosphere for all staff.
