SUMMARY OF ROLE
ALL Power Labs is experiencing tremendous growth across various fronts - shipments, product offerings, regions, markets - and we are needing help to coordinate the operational execution of our manufacturing and supply chain.
The Supply Chain Planner will be working with a very talented group of people in production, purchasing, logistics and sales.
One of the immediate activities is to drive the implementation of an MRP system so expert knowledge in this area is required.
Presentation of various information sets such as materials forecasts and product costing will be regular activity so excellent analytical and communication skills is a must as well.
You must enjoy a high-growth environment where processes and systems are still being created and be able to think outside the box on how certain things need to be done.
Needless to say leadership qualities are required.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create Sales & Operating Plan summaries including demand, inventory and production data.
- Work Order release to production and resolving material issues that impact the build plan.
- Develops master production schedules for finished goods and component items based on capacity requirements.
- Schedule materials and products needed to support ontime shipments and customer commitments
- Identify and communicate risks and opportunities associated with achievement of supplier production plans.
- Assess the impact of forecasting changes to overall demand plan
- Monitor and manage suppliers' relationships and conduct ongoing supplier analysis to ensure that suppliers have the necessary capacity and process control in place
- Coordinate the transportation of materials between multiple sites
- Order and expedite parts and materials from outside vendors and internal suppliers to support manufacturing operation
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 2 years experience in a similar function
- Previous experience in setting up ERP and MRP systems
- Expert Excel user
- Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to function within a teambased organization.
- Experience in a fabrication environment
- Ability to interact with, and influence key business stakeholders
Pay:
$ $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
