We are looking for a Global OPEX Manager for one of our clients, an international packaging manufacturer located in Fountain Inn. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating lean activities across 7 locations worldwide. The company is currently in a phase of standardizing processes and improving process documentation. The position also offers the opportunity to develop into a plant manager role within 2-3 years.

The company offers remote work options, with the location being flexible. The position reports to the Senior Vice President of Operations.

As the Global OPEX Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing the lean management system for 7 locations
  • Facilitating and conducting lean trainings and workshops
  • Managing communication between departments regarding lean initiatives
  • Collaborating with internal departments
  • Maintaining a best-practice network
  • Reducing scrap rates
  • Improving process documentation
  • Optimizing process stability

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in a technical field or equivalent education
  • Several years of experience with lean methodologies in a manufacturing setting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent German and proficient English skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally
