    Job DescriptionDescription:

    Mack Industries is looking to add experienced Loader Operator to our growing company. In this year-round position one will work as part of the Ready-Mix yard team supplying the batch plant with materials and assisting within the yard as needed.

    Essential Functions

    • Load the batch plants with material
    • Perform general yard maintenance
    • Safely operate the loader, adhering to all equipment and plant safety protocols
    • Stripping precast concrete blocks and loading them onto flatbeds
    • Able to transports materials safely to their destination
    • Perform daily cleaning and washing of equipment, including but not limited to removal of concrete buildup on all interior and exterior parts
    • Follow company policies on the use and wear of standard PPE (hard hat, safety vest, safety toe boots, and safety glasses)
    • Adhere to all federal and state regulations
    • Adhere to company policies and procedures including but not limited to driving and attendance
    • Ability to be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes and shift time changes
    • Ability to transport material with attention to detail and emphasis to safety
    • Assist in other areas as needed
    Requirements:

    Education and Training

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Construction site safety including concrete material handling and basic equipment maintenance

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Must be 21 years of Age
    • At least 1 year experience working at loading a concrete/asphalt plant
    • Manual Endorsement required
    • Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Environment Conditions and Physical Strain

    • Construction environment, seasonal weather conditions
    • Due to the nature of the operation, the levels of noise, dust and dirt can be high.
    • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs., on occasion
    • This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day
