The Accounts Receivable Lead will oversee the entire accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate recording and timely collection of outstanding receivables.
This individual will collaborate with the Accounts Receivable Associates to enhance processes, resolve complex issues, and maintain positive relationships with clients.
Additionally, they will play a key role in month-end procedures, audits, and special projects.- Supervise daily operations of the accounts receivable department.
- Provide training and ongoing support to AR staff.
- Manage and execute customer invoicing and payment processing.
- Coordinate with sales and operations teams to address customer inquiries and disputes.
- Prepare and analyze aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and take appropriate actions.
- Assist in the monthend close process and related reconciliations.
- Collaborate with external clients and internal departments to resolve billing discrepancies and improve processes.
- Maintain documentation of AR procedures and policies.
- Support AR team members as needed to ensure departmental objectives are met.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 23 years of accounts receivable experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with cloudbased accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks).
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, multilocation environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving abilities.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Willingness to undergo preemployment background checks and drug screening.
