Cowboy's Ready Mix, LLC (CRM) is a fast growing company with 5 concrete batch plants; Wallisville, Dayton, Winnie, Beaumont, & Port Arthur.

CRM is looking to hire a Batch plant operator at our facility in Port Arthur. Operation hours; Monday-Saturday, Hours vary with customer job demands and weather.


Dispatcher Responsibilities:

• Know Business Demands. Become thoroughly familiar with the day's business demands by reviewing schedule and individual customer orders at the beginning of and continuously during shifts.
• Direct Drivers regarding which customer job site to receive delivery and where to load after completing delivery.
• Batch concrete to meet or exceed customer requirements
• Assist in establishing and modifying mix designs for customer requirements
• Communicate effectively, professionally, and clearly with employees, management, and customers
• Able to work a flexible schedule
• Report Issues. Immediately report any delivery problems to jobsite supervisor and operations manager.
• Record customer orders through internal dispatching systems and schedule and book orders for future delivery as received.
• Determine Schedules. Tactfully balance cost effective delivery times for Company based on customer demands.
• Complete Daily Reports. Complete reports daily on product sales, product allowances and adjustments, delivery problems, and other matters.
• Operate concrete plant batching computer systems, CommandAlkon & Jonel
• Learn the different types of mix designs for concrete and assist with slumps
• Oversee all plant operations; coordinate and monitor daily workload throughout the plant; monitor plant cleanliness
• Quality Control
• Directing Mixer Truck drivers and loading them in a timely matter
• Manage raw material inventories
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Assisting Operations Manager as needed

Requirements:

• Computer knowledge
• Good aptitude for logistics, planning, and scheduling
• Ability to multitask and to adapt quickly to changes
• Familiarity with needs and terminology of concrete contractors
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Great Customer Service
• Communication Skills
• Team Player
• Bilingual preferredNOT required

From $20.00 per hour
