Position Overview:

The Account Coordinator in EPIC Private Client is responsible for providing exceptional service and support to the Private Client Producers, Team Leaders, and Relationship Managers.

The Account Coordinator works independently and must be able to take direction, seek guidance when necessary, and demonstrate a sense of urgency when required.

This is a non-exempt position.


Responsibilities:


  • Act as client advocate always.
  • Maintain a positive relationship and excellent communication with client and coworkers.
  • Enter and set up prospects in management system and run MVR & CLUE.
  • Maintain account information and document communication in agency management system.
  • Manage and process daily carrier Download and Communication Logs.
  • Manage and process daily invoicing and monthly expirations.
  • Pull cancellation, reinstatements and non pays from carriers' websites daily.
  • General scanning, photocopying, binding proposals/summaries, and other clerical tasks as assigned by AM and Producer.
  • Generate and maintain Proposals, Binders, Renewal Reviews and Summaries of insurance as directed by AM and Producer.
  • Exchange information with clients, carriers, Relationship Managers, and Producers.
  • Process incoming mail daily.
  • Work collaboratively with coworkers.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned. Manage projects as directed by EPIC Private Client Leadership.
  • Comply with all internal procedures and practices while demonstrating the ability to meet performance and quality standards.
  • Assume ownership of customer concerns and feedback until successful resolution.
  • Become a student of the business. Seek insurance knowledge through training and education.

Education and Experience

  • High School / GED Education required/College Graduate Preferred
  • P&C Insurance License or related work experience preferred.
  • If not currently licensed, it must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Skills and Abilities

  • Possess excellent written, verbal, listening and organizational skills.
  • Strong Language, Mathematical, Analytical and Reasoning ability.
  • Must be able to work within a team environment.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency when responding to an inquiry.
  • Must possess the ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Must possess attention to detail while meeting deadlines.
  • Must be punctual and reliable.
  • Attend internal and external training classes and seminars.
  • Must be able to keep information confidential.


The national average salary for this role is $60,000 to $75,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits.

The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
