The community

be caring for: AdventHealth Riverview
- AdventHealth is expanding our medical expertise, innovation, and stateoftheart technology to southern Hillsborough County through a brandnew hospital in Riverview, which is scheduled to open in 202
- The new AdventHealth Riverview hospital will include 82 beds at time of opening with space to expand to 202 beds in the future.
- This $250 million project in Riverview also includes a 100,000 square foot, fourstory Medical Office Building that will provide community members convenient access to expert care.
- AdventHealth Riverview will offer a wide range of health care services which includes emergency, cardiovascular, digestive, urology, orthopedic and women's care.
The role
you'll
contribute:
The Interventional Radiology Services Coordinator organizes the workflow of AdventHealth Wesley Chapel Imaging Services/Cardiology and reviews the various service areas to gain and improve efficiency.
The value
you'll
bring to the team:
- Coordinate workflow for cardiology and radiology modalities, including continuous review of: patient wait times, patient satisfaction, and communication with radiologists.
- Assure accuracy of scheduled appointments and monitors proper outpatient preparation are made for cardiology and radiologic tests.
- Schedules all Special/Interventional Radiology procedures and Cardiology procedures with physicians and physician office staff by phone, electronic EMR and/or fax method.
- Scrutinizes the tentative schedules and contacts Modality Leader, Lead Nurse, Admissions, radiologists, etc. and reviews other information that affects administration of schedule.
- Appropriately consults with Directors, Managers, Nursing, Radiologist, and Modality Leaders regarding schedule conflicts, concerns or requests that fall outside of established policy. Seeks input from Modality Leaders regarding scheduling constraints and preferences of equipment, and implants, etc. Flags all special needs.
Qualifications:
The
expertise
and experiences
you'll
need to succeed:
- High School Diploma or equivalent upon hire
- Associates degree preferred
- Radiology services experience preferred
- Current American Heart Association BLS certificate or RQI upon hire, then renewed quarterly following the RQI protocols
