Early Childhood Teacher/director - Harlem, United States - Beyond Readiness

Description

The Director must be a certified teacher, trained in early childhood education, with a minimum of two year's experience teaching young children.

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum
• Provide a nurturing and safe environment for children to learn and grow
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to create a positive learning atmosphere
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's development
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Incorporate special education and early intervention practices when working with children with diverse needs
• Participate in curriculum development activities to enhance educational programs

• Experience working with students in an educational setting
• Proficiency in tutoring and providing academic support
• Strong classroom management skills to create a conducive learning environment
• Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
• Knowledge of special education practices for supporting students with diverse needs
• Background in childcare or early childhood education
• Familiarity with curriculum development principles for early childhood programs

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
