Job Summary:

Performs a variety of warehousing duties requiring an understanding of the establishments storage plan.
Work involves most of the following: Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages; routing materials to prescribed storage locations; storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
Oversees the storage and distribution operations.
Directs employees engaged in Warehousing Operations using automated and manual material moving equipment, devices, and systems.
Plans the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials based on workload projections on weekly or monthly basis.
Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences IAW general work schedules, methods, and policies established by the Project Supervisor.
Redirects workers and resources to accomplish unanticipated work and to accommodate daily workload fluctuations.
Conducts planning of current and future work schedules, providing workload data, estimates, information on staffing needs, and recommendations as to the scheduling of projected work.
Ensures work is done properly and efficiently IAW the terms and conditions of the contract.

Requirements:

Uses DSS and other Government Data Systems resolving common error conditions, responds to computer output instructions or error conditions, following standard operating procedures.
Must have the ability to be cleared for a NACI clearance to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
Must be 18 years or older
Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift up 50 lbs
Must be able to work in an environment exposed to the elements, both hot and cold.
Have the ability to learn and operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) of various types to include standup and sitdown forklifts
