    Job DescriptionClient Summary: Faith based Foundation delivers socially principled investment management, fosters generosity, promotes education, and provides financial tools to support churches in achieving financial stability throughout New York and Connecticut. This position provides investor and administrative support to the Executive Director and the Finance Manager. The position will provide backup support for our investment management system, management of client files, general administrative tasks as well as developing marketing resources and communicating with church members and pastors.

    Job Title: Investor Relations Assistant
    Salary: $60K, Direct Hire
    Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
    Reports To: Executive Director / Finance Manager

    Principal Duties or Tasks:

    The Investor Relations Associate will:

    • Maintain the organization's website, online investor reporting portal, and contact management system.
    • Participate in coordination / compilation of monthly portfolio valuations and related investment data.
    • Track fund performance and maintain daily cash positions.
    • Assist in updating / preparing investor and marketing materials.
    • Create investor reports and analyze data.
    • Provide separation of duties through performing bank reconciliations and logging incoming transactions.
    • Assist in preparing for investor and board meetings.
    • Address ad hoc inquiries and respond to investor requests.
    • Provide direct day-to-day administrative support to the Executive Director and the Finance Manager.
    • Assist with organization of shared documents, folders and other general administrative tasks.

      Qualifications:
    • General business skills are required including knowledge of English grammar, proper spelling and punctuation.
    • General understanding of accounting principles and willingness to learn Trust accounting system.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
    • Ability to give extreme attention to details with an eye for excellence.
    • Willingness to expand use of technology to effectively perform tasks; learn and implement new PC applications.
    • Ability to discern when privacy is required and have the capacity to act with discretion, maintainin appropriate confidentiality when dealing with management, personnel and sensitive issues.
    • Ability to work proactively and complete all duties on schedule.
    • Skill in communicating with a diverse population of callers and visitors via telephone, email or in person.
    • Familiarity with financial services helpful; Associates degree in finance, business administration, or accounting is helpful.
