Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Service Writer to join our team.

The Service Writer will be responsible for coordinating customer service requests, providing estimates, and ensuring the smooth operation of the service department.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers to determine their service needs and provide recommendations
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor and parts
• Schedule service appointments and communicate effectively with customers
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services
• Maintain detailed records of services performed and customer interactions
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the service process

Requirements:

• Prior experience in automotive services or related field
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair terminology
• Proficiency in auto estimating and service management software is a plus
• Mechanical knowledge including shocks, struts, suspension, oil changes, and diesel engine repair
