- Work with the Operations, Project Implementation, and Information Technology (IT) teams to identify training documentation needs for the business, systems, and new employee orientation at the channel level.
- Responsible for process analysis as well as mortgage process documentation in an active environment
- Familiarity and use of a writing/documentation System for process/procedure documentation, FAQs, how-to snippet videos, etc.
- Partner with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and the Project team to prepare instructional documentation and update job aids and reference materials.
- Documentation must be effective to ensure navigation by remote and on-site staff.
- Provide ongoing documentation support as needed.
- Be an agent of change through the promotion of positive approaches to training documentation.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 – 4 years experience in technical writing
- 3 - 5 years of mortgage services industry experience
- Excellent gathering and data analysis skills
- Excellent writing skills: design skills are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid writing techniques and presentation of written topics for the remote and in-person training group
- Excellent client-facing communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to accept changes to material and to manage to tight time frames
- Working knowledge of correspondent and Third-Party Originator (TPO) channels training is a plus.
