- Performs repair on diesel trucks
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, disassemble vehicles and examine parts for defects and excessive wear
- Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units
- Inspect the overall condition of Truck to ensure that they meet U.S. Department of Transportation's safety requirements
- Compile inspection reports detailing their findings
- Track all parts and materials used in repairs or replacements
- Ensure the final work product meets quality standards
- Maintain a safe and clean work area for customers and co-workers

We are a Minnesota based family-owned business with a shop in Scanlon and have an opening for a Diesel Technician in our Truck Shop. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, has mechanical aptitude (experience as a truck or trailer mechanic preferred), and with a strong work ethic.

We have multiple bays for truck and trailer service along with a complete offering of parts. Our Service Technicians have an extensive amount of experience. Blaine Brothers has a second location in Scanlon (Cloquet), Minnesota. This facility offers the same parts and service you depend on at our Minneapolis location. Blaine Brothers Clearwater, Minnesota location is the newest facility to service the growing needs of our clients. Located off Interstate 94 at Highway 24 (Exit 178), we are minutes from Saint Cloud. Our Clearwater location offers complete truck and trailer service and towing. Blaine Brothers TRUCKALINE offers complete frame, suspension and alignment services.
