The Verkehrsverbund Großraum Nürnberg (VGN) organizes a modern, interconnected, public transportation system covering km2 for over 1 million passengers per day with its approximately 60 employees.

The VGN is one of the most important transportation associations in Germany. To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for a Department Head (m/f/d) for Communication and Service.

Department Head (m/f/d) for Communication and Service Your main responsibilities We offer an interesting, challenging and diverse range of tasks with a focus on the following activities:
Developing an innovative overall marketing strategy for VGN in the areas of communication, sales promotion and customer service as well as conceptualizing, coordinating and managing projects and tasks in the field of marketing communication and all service-related tasks Conducting internal and cross-company coordination Professional and disciplinary management of the department, consisting of 7 employees Structuring, further developing and improving work processes, standards and procedures Leading working groups and committees Your profile We expect a degree in marketing, communication or a comparable qualification High interest in the tasks and challenges of public and regional transportation Knowledge of the market and region is an advantage Strong ability for moderation and conflict management Strong customer orientation Teamwork, commitment and willingness to take responsibility Solid MS Office skills We offer Working in a collegial, dynamic team Flexible working hours between 6am and 8pm Mobile working within the framework of a company agreement VGN-wide transportation ticket (currently: Germany ticket) for private use Social
