The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to improve with us.

We are currently seeking candidates for a 3-year apprenticeship as a Concrete and Reinforced Concrete Builder (m/f/d) for DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH at our location in Halle (Saale).

You will also attend vocational school in Halle (Saale) and the inter-company training center in Holleben.

What to expect in your apprenticeship:

  • You will become familiar with various construction equipment and tools, such as our pile driver and earth auger.
  • You will learn how to create structures using different building materials such as stones, mortar, and concrete.
  • You will learn how to mix concrete and construct reinforced concrete structures for various buildings, such as masts or retaining walls on our railway line.
  • You will also learn how to create sketches and installation plans.

Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed school (or will soon) and are good at math.
  • You are not afraid of changing work locations (nationwide) and working hours.
  • You have good manual skills and spatial imagination.
  • You enjoy working in a team and are always willing to help.
  • You are dedicated, flexible, and reliable.
  • You are not interested in office work and prefer to work outdoors.
