Training as a specialist* for pool operations (m/f/d)
"For the love of the region" is the central guiding principle for our work with and for the people of Elmshorn and the surrounding area. For over 100 years, we have been providing energy and water to the people here and now successfully expanding our telecommunications division. In addition, we are involved in many other areas to improve the quality of life in our hometown and operate the Badepark, one of the largest sports and leisure facilities in Elmshorn.


The following tasks are among the components of the 3-year training as a specialist* for pool operations: supervision of pool operations, maintenance of pool and leisure facilities, monitoring and securing technical operations, measuring physical and chemical parameters, visitor support, visitor animation, leading aqua classes and swimming lessons.

In addition, the training is supplemented by various courses such as first aid training. The theoretical knowledge is taught in block lessons at the Walther-Lehmkuhl-Schule in Neumünster.

The job description

Specialists* for pool operations mainly work in public and private outdoor and indoor pools, lake and beach pools, seawater and wave pools, or fitness centers.

In addition, a specialist* for pool operations can also work in wellness hotels, municipal sports offices, or medical bathing facilities.
