    AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring the cloud runs smoothly. We handle all aspects of AWS data centers, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment, to guarantee uninterrupted access to cutting-edge innovation for our customers. ADDITIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Ability to work from the corporate office following company policy - Willingness to travel up to 25% of the year, including internationally - Utilize personal transportation for meetings and job visits outside the office Key job responsibilities: - Work with regional and global partners to enhance AWS Colo construction, commissioning, and cost control processes - Identify and address process gaps across internal and external stakeholders - Provide project management support for Colocation data center build activities - Deliver measurable results to enhance Colo quality, schedule, and cost A day in the life: Prioritization and time management skills are essential. Throughout, we strive for the same goal: Deliver measurable results to enhance the Colo commissioning, control, and construction program. About the team: Our team collaborates across AWS stakeholders to drive results and set high standards for AWS Colos. This position is open in Denver, CO, USA | Herndon, VA, USA BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: - 5+ years of experience in mission-critical facilities - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent - 3+ years of construction, commissioning, building automation experience PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - 2+ years related to the Colocation data center industry and 2+ years of program management experience - Strong Technical knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical plant and services supporting Data Center environments - Effective communication and organization skills, ability to work in high-stress environments - Proficiency in reading and reviewing design and construction documents, including Microsoft Office Suite
