National Security Systems is seeking a Service Manager with strong leadership skills and that is experienced in security alarms, fire alarms, access control systems and cameras to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and maintaining technicians' schedules.
• Having potential to supervise and manage service and installation department.
• Communicate and effectively interact with contractors and customers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
• Identify out of scope requests by the contractor or customer and notify management of pending changes.
• Assist customers on site with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Effectively communicate project status to management.

Basic Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Applicants must be able to pass a background check.
• Must have excellent communications skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.
• Regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
• Be able to program various systems.

Physical Requirements, most if the work will be office work but sometimes there may be on-site work:

• Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing a ladder, scaffolding and high lift equipment up to 50 feet, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc.
• Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools as required and lifting to 75lbs.

Schedule:
8-hour shift Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5PM

Experience (all required):
Fire alarm: 5+ years

Security alarm: 5+ years

Access control systems 5+ years

IP camera systems 5+ years


Pay:
$ $48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
