    Content Stack Developer - Remote Opportunity

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled Content Stack Developer with expertise in migrating content from Kentico to Content Stack. As a Migration Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the seamless transition of our content management system from Kentico to Content Stack.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Migration Planning: Collaborate with the project team to devise a comprehensive migration strategy. Analyze existing content structures in Kentico and devise efficient strategies for transferring data to Content Stack.
    2. Content Mapping: Conduct a thorough assessment of content types, taxonomies, and metadata in Kentico. Map these elements to the corresponding structures in Content Stack, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the migration process.
    3. Data Extraction: Develop scripts or utilize existing tools to extract content data from Kentico databases. Ensure data integrity and completeness during the extraction process.
    4. Transformation and Cleansing: Implement data transformation and cleansing processes as necessary to adapt content from Kentico to the schema and standards of Content Stack. Address any inconsistencies or anomalies in the data to maintain quality.
    5. Integration with Azure Services: Collaborate with Azure specialists to integrate migrated content with Azure services, such as Azure Blob Storage, Azure Functions, or Azure Cognitive Services. Ensure seamless integration with existing Azure infrastructure and applications.
    6. Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing of migrated content to identify and address any issues or discrepancies. Validate data integrity, structure, and functionality to ensure a successful migration outcome.
    7. Documentation: Create detailed documentation of migration processes, including methodologies, scripts, and configurations. Provide training and support to internal teams as needed to facilitate the transition to Content Stack.
    8. Optimization and Performance Tuning: Optimize migration processes for efficiency and performance. Identify opportunities for automation and implement enhancements to streamline future migrations.

    Requirements:

    1. Proven Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Content Stack Developer or similar role, with a demonstrated track record of successful content migrations.
    2. Expertise in Kentico and Content Stack: In-depth knowledge of Kentico and Content Stack platforms, including content modeling, data structures, APIs, and customization capabilities.
    3. Scripting and Automation Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell for data extraction, transformation, and automation tasks.
    4. Data Management Skills: Strong understanding of data management principles, including data modeling, normalization, and cleansing techniques.
    5. Azure Integration Skills: Experience integrating applications and services with Azure, including Azure Blob Storage, Azure Functions, Azure Cognitive Services, and other Azure PaaS offerings.
    6. Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and devise creative solutions under tight deadlines.
    7. Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and project managers.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    1. Certifications: Certification in Kentico and/or Content Stack is a plus.
    2. Experience with Content Migration Tools: Familiarity with third-party content migration tools and utilities, such as CMS2CMS, may be beneficial.
    3. Experience with Headless CMS Architectures: Knowledge of headless CMS architectures and decoupled content management approaches is advantageous.
