Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Field Estimator / Runner.

As a vital member of our garage door company, you will be responsible for visiting job sites, conducting measurements, capturing photos, and assisting with project coordination.

This role offers the opportunity to work independently, interact with customers, and contribute to the success of our projects.


Responsibilities:

Site Visits: Conduct on-site visits to customer locations to assess project requirements and gather necessary information.

Measurements: Accurately measure spaces for garage door installations or replacements using provided tools and techniques.

Photography: Capture clear and comprehensive photographs of existing garage doors, structures, and relevant areas to aid in project planning and estimation.

Customer Interaction: Interact professionally with customers to address inquiries, provide information, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Documentation: Maintain detailed and organized records of measurements, photos, and site-specific information for each project.

Communication: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including sales, installation, and management, to communicate project details and ensure smooth coordination.

Problem-Solving: Identify potential issues or challenges during site visits and communicate them promptly to the appropriate team members for resolution.

Compliance: Adhere to company policies, safety guidelines, and industry regulations while performing job duties.


Requirements:

Previous Experience: Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction, home improvement, or related industry.

Reliability: Demonstrated reliability and punctuality in previous employment or commitments.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.

Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of measurement techniques and the ability to use tools such as tape measures and digital devices for documentation.

Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accurate measurements and thorough documentation.

Valid Driver's License: Possession of a valid driver's license and a
reliable vehicle for transportation to job sites.

Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with mínimal supervision.
