Trane Technologies is hiring a Controls/Quality Engineer III in La Crosse, WI.
·
In-house manufacturing: support the manufacturing assembly and test cells to maximize product quality and reliability.
·
Position Responsibilities:
·
·
Staff quality engineer responsible for product and process quality for medium pressure product line.·
·
Responsible for the quality of assembly tests conducted as described in the product certificate of conformance such as proof, hydro, vacuum, EOL, vibration and performance.
·
Perform continuous improvements of existing both high voltage and low voltage controls that will enable early failure detections based on DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plan and Field Data.
·
Develop training plan for in-process test plans including standard work, system diagrams, schematics, test sequences, validation, and verification plans.·
·
Developing knowledge of key HVAC systems and components that will need to be tested including Trane Controls, electro-mechanical power components, electrical wiring, transformers, circuit breakers, contactors, overloads, variable frequency drives, solid state starters, wye-delta starters, compressors, evaporators, condensers, indoor fans, outdoor fans, gas heat, electric heat along with proprietary components.

Drive continuous improvement for all elements of the Quality System.·
·
Benchmark business processes against best-in-class and drive implementation of best practices throughout the organization.·
·
Support our ISO 9001 Quality System to make sure all deliverables are met for customer and regulatory body compliance.·
·
Monitor and coordinate corrective actions for supplier complaints.
·
Success in this role will be achieved by developing strong working relationships with the plant personnel and internal engineering organizations.

Base Pay Range:
$90,000 - $120,000
