- Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts, ensuring proper documentation and authorization.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve inquiries and issues promptly.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in accounts payable processes.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Salary Range: $19-20 an hour
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance department in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience in accounts payable processes, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen eye for accuracy.
