Your apprenticeship as a specialist for warehouse logistics at Havelland Express Frischdienst GmbH

During your apprenticeship at Havelland Express, you will learn how to handle high-quality food for upscale gastronomy and hotel industry.

In the goods receiving department, you will check the products arriving from all over the world together with our goods receiving manager.

You will get to know the different product groups, including meat and poultry, fresh fish and seafood such as mussels and oysters, fruits and vegetables, as well as delicatessen and dairy products.

During the picking process, you will use computer-based systems to put together customer orders and bring them to the goods dispatch area.

You will also learn about internal goods transport and how to handle transport vehicles and aids.

We will expand your computer skills through daily work with our warehouse management and inventory system, as well as using office applications and tour control.

You will learn about the diverse logistical routes and possibilities for delivery and also check the progress of shipments with connected interfaces.

In addition, you will gain insights into the areas of purchasing, accounting, and quality assurance, and see how our sales department operates.

Your academic support will be provided by OSZ Lotis in Berlin.
