    Description

    Are you a System Engineer ready to innovate database management and system optimization? Join our team at the forefront of technology as we shape the future of digital infrastructure.

    Intrepid Technology Group, LLC, a leader in providing advanced solutions in system and network engineering, artificial intelligence, communications, and satellite communications, is looking for an experienced SQL Systems Engineer.

    The selected candidate will handle multiple domains with a 1000+ user load on each network, responsibilities include user account management, policy management, server and software installations, scripting, troubleshooting, and server network issues.

    Active TS/SCI w/Polygraph clearance required.

    Location: Herndon, VA

    Terms: Full-time

    Schedule: On-site Core Hours

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's Degree preferred
    • Minimum of 11 years' experience
    • Demonstrated Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4 troubleshooting skills
    • Expertise in Server OS 2008R2, 2012R2, 2016, 2019
    • Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
    • Deep experience with cloud technologies
    • Microsoft SCCM/SQL Experience with 1906+
    • Proficiency in PowerShell, VB, C# scripting
    • Effective task prioritization and execution
    • Capability to work independently or in a team
    • Adaptability to learn new technologies
    • Experience in technical standards documentation
    • Strong Customer service skills
    • MCSE/MCITP certification

    Preferred Skills:

    • Microsoft Azure Pack
    • PowerShell
    • Understanding of Enterprise Networking best practices

    The ideal candidate should be a proactive self-starter who can monitor infrastructure, implement changes, and research new systems with minimal supervision. They will be crucial in developing a system for managing updates and hotfixes across domains.
