    Description

    Responsibilities

    will include, but are not limited to:
  • On-going operations and maintenance support of existing systems.
  • Designing and developing initial prototypes/proofs of concept and validate them for technical design and performance.
  • Participate in defining robust architectures for new systems, leveraging and enhancing existing building blocks or creating new reusable components.
  • Being responsive and decisive on adjusting product architecture as customer requirements, market conditions and technology evolve.
  • Identifying and articulating new technology, programming, design methodology, and best practices.
    • Qualifications

    At least five (5) years overall systems engineering experience including:

  • At least five (5) years of system administration experience.
  • At least five (5) years of Active Directory and Exchange administration and or Linux and Red Hat.
  • At least five (5) years of VMWare and Citrix.
  • Experience managing a highly virtualized environment and must have experience managing backup and recovery products.
  • An understanding of installation, testing methodologies and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong organization skills, including the ability to handle multiple ongoing projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, particularly with a customer focus.
  • Excellent customer facing skills and real world experience providing System Administration/Engineering for federal clients.

    • Must be able to demonstrate a minimum of five (5) years experience in designing and supporting some or all of the following:

  • Exchange 2010/2013
  • Windows 2008/2012
  • Linux/Red Hat
  • Active Microsoft Clusters
  • Active Directory domains
  • VMware ESX
  • BlackBerry Enterprise Server
  • Fiber based Storage Area Networks

    • Preferred Qualifications:

  • MCSE/MCITP EA
  • ITIL
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Active TS/SCI w/Poly
