Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Mechanical Test Technician (3rd shift 11:30 p.m. to 8 a.m.) to join our rapidly expanding team in Warren, MI. As a member of the operations team, the Test Technician position performs a variety testing services to manufacturers and leading suppliers in the automotive industry. The range of capabilities includes component and system testing, system simulation, engine performance and full vehicle structural testing.

Responsibilities

Build and tear down of test fixtures
Possesses the ability to learn lower to intermediate complex testing.
Training will be provided
Work with hand tools; wrenches, hammers, screw drivers, etc.

Skills / Qualifications

HS diploma or GED certificate preferred. College or vocational school coursework welcomed
Minimum 1 yr experience working as a Technician, Mechanic, General
Repair, etc. or interest in similar field
Must be able to work with basic tools
Any experience working with repairing or maintaining cars, trucks, motorcycles, highly desired
