For our client, a medium-sized company from southern Germany with approximately 400 employees, Dr. Newzella Consulting is exclusively seeking a

Head of R&D (m/f/d)

with the following profile:

Your responsibilities:

  • Identification of suitable licensing and development projects
  • Design of the development department, creation of concepts for entrepreneurial visions
  • Scientific evaluation of in-licensing and licensing negotiations
  • Establishment of project-related development cooperations and networking with institutes and companies
  • Responsible for preclinical and clinical studies of phases I - IV
  • Determination of suitable galenic development approaches in coordination with marketing managers
  • Member of the management committee
  • Leadership and further development of the R&D department
  • Reporting line: Management

Our requirements:

  • Successfully completed degree in natural sciences, e.g. pharmacy, chemistry, medicine or a comparable degree
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of R&D and leadership experience
  • Proficiency in the application of modern project work methods and development tools
  • Contract and patent law knowledge
