    Position Summary The Director of Radiology and Guest Services (SHRC)#plans, directs, organizes, and controls all departmental functions and activities.# The Director has the responsibility, authority and accountability for the total management of the Radiology Department.# Under the supervision of a Radiologist, the department provides a variety of technical procedures by applying ionizing radiation.

    Minimum Requirements Education###### Graduate from American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of Radiologic Technology Experience##### 10+ years clinical experience at technologist level 5+ years# experience in Supervisor/Management License/Registration/Certifications# South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association Certification Current American Registry of Radiology Technologist License Core Job Responsibilities The Director develops and implements strategic plans for Radiology personnel, develops staffing patterns and quality improvement programs.

    This individual must be able to provide for and understand the specific communication, developmental, and treatment needs of patients, families, and visitors ranging in age from early to late adult.# This individual is responsible for the recruitment, retention, training, and continuing education of department and staff.# As the Director of Guest Services, this individual is responsible for ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of patients, patient representatives, guests, visitors, and physicians; complaint/grievance resolution in conjunction with Administration and the oversight of the Service Recovery program.

    This individual is responsible for the patient satisfaction survey contract, ensuring data is communicated to all Directors/Managers/departments as well as providing consultation related to opportunities for improvement and for providing associate training on aspects of improving the Patient Experience.

    This individual serves on teams/committees at SHRC as appropriate.

    Minimum Requirements

    Education
