Meta is looking for an experienced, self-motivated Operations leader to join the Product Data Operations (PDO) team leading our work in GenAI.

The PDO GenAI team provides critical data labeling that powers AI products across Meta's family of apps.

As the Head of the PDO GenAI team, you will be responsible for setting the strategy for Meta's AI labeling work and leading the team to execution.

You will directly manage a team of managers and senior Project Managers to supply product teams critical data. You will work closely with Meta product management and engineering teams to deliver on Meta's product roadmap.

Head of Operations, GenAI Responsibilities:

Develop team strategy and lead team to execute on critical GenAI labeling needs
Provide leadership, guidance, and career development to a team of people managers and project managers
Utilize strategic tools, systems, and data to help the team analyze trends and deliver insights to define goals and improve processes
Influence crossfunctional team strategy through use of effective communication
Craft and lead team to its vision: drive impact towards goals, and work with leaders across the organization on strategies for executing, measuring progress, and sharing results
Build strategic relationships with global and crossfunctional teams to understand and anticipate risks and opportunities for the GenAI Operations organization
Coordinate with global crossfunctional teams including Product, Engineering, PR/Communications, Public Policy, Legal, Quality, and others to problem solve and develop solutions
Attract, build, manage, and develop a talented, diverse, equitable and inclusive team

Minimum Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience influencing across functional boundaries and/or globally
Experience working with product, engineering or technical teams
Analytical and problemsolving experience
Experience influencing senior executives
Experience prioritizing and ensuring key initiatives move forward, managing multiple crossfunctional stakeholders, and working with urgency
Executive presence and effective communications skills
Critical thinking/analytical leadership experience
A proven team player adaptable to a fastpaced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

12+ years of experience working in operations, ideally with a focus on machine learning
Experience scaling and leading project management and analytical teams
Experience managing teams that utilize data analysis & visualization tools (e.g. SQL, Excel, Tableau)
3+ years of experience in the AI/ML space or working with data labeling
Experience with predictive or descriptive analytics and working with machine learning teams
