Media & Public Relations Specialist.

PRIMARY DUTIES
- Create public informational materials to target audiences for business unit communications, including multimedia content for use on the web and social media sites.
- Contributes to production and distribution of public informational materials to a target audience using social and multimedia, such as enewsletters, publication, website content, and magazine.
- Researches, writes, edits, and summarizes tributes information materials to print, broadcast, and online media outlets. Maintains printed inventory, databases, and digital archives.
- React to and interact with media representatives to develop and maintain relationships, pitch university programs and activities, and respond to media inquiries
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's degree preferably in English, journalism, or communications.
Experience:
Two (2) years of related communications, marketing, media, public or client relations experience.
Supervisory Experience:
N/A.
Certification/Licensure:
N/A.
Other:
Clery act designated job as campus security authorities (CSA) member and will comply with Clery Act requirements.
