As a sales-oriented organization, the company's Technical Sales Representative serves as a key member of the organization's customer service team; You'll collaborate closely with both customers and other members of the sales team to proactively identify opportunities, translate designs into actionable solutions, and ensure specifications exceed customer expectations.
The Technical Sales Representative will also handle sales tasks, which could include but are not limited to, handling customer order calls, negotiating pricing and/or quoting, etc.
Enforce all company rules, policies, and procedures; Proactively identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
Generate and submit technical sales quotes, negotiating pricing where appropriate.
Collaborate with the outside sales team to close deals and ensure a seamless customer experience.
Determine design factors such as size, shape, and arrangement of parts.
File drawings and maintain catalogs of CAD/drawing data.
Assist in compiling materials and specification sheets.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
Experience running CNC processing equipment is a plus.
Software used in this role:
o Paperless Parts
o MIE Trak ERP (Manufacturing Software)
Strong sales acumen and a results-driven mindset.
Ability to identify and capitalize on potential sales opportunities.
Creative problem solving
Bachelor's or Associate's Degree is highly preferred.
