    The JobSquad Solutions Team is currently looking for a Route Sales Driver to work at a company located in the Corpus Christi, TX area

    Requirements of position
    Previous experience as a route driver required
    Experience delivering to grocery stores preferred
    DOT medical card required
    Valid driver's license
    High school diploma or equivalent
    Responsibilities of position
    Jobsquad is currently hiring for DSD Routes for a well-known snack food company.

    The primary purpose of this role is to service established customers by driving a box truck to deliver snack foods.

    You will also be responsible for the rotating of product and stocking of store shelves. Accounts to include large chain grocery stores and convenience stores. Product will be pulled from the local warehouse and delivered throughout the Corpus Christi and Portland areas.

    • A DOT medical card is required for this route.
    • Saturdays are required.

    This route has:

    • Several grocery stores and convenience stores on this route (some locations will need deliveries multiple times per week)
    • Starting rate of $25/hr.
    • Off days include Sunday and one weekday
    • Some holidays may be required
    • Start time is typically between 5:00am-7:00am
    • Routes are designed to be 8-10 hours/day

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Candidate must be willing to perform the following tasks and meet the criteria below:

    • Must be able to drive up to a 26-foot box truck.
    • Travel between stores in the area.
    • Must be able to push, pull and lift 20lbs – will be walking up and down the back of the cargo truck loading and unloading products.
    • Must be able to keep a schedule assigned to the route. Must be able to use a handheld computer.
    • Must be able to manage inventory.
    • Must be able to check-in/check-out products accurately with the receiving personnel.
