I have 30 years of operations experience. I was a substitute (step up) supervisor for over 12 years. where operated I several units by Computer (honeywell DCS & Emerson DCS). I participated in 4 unit startups & 1 unit decommissioning for demolition. I have commissioned 600#, 125#, 40#, & 15# steam as well as all other services needed for unit operation.  I started & ran steam turbines, centrifuges, Mills, vacuum & pressure distillation towers, Reactors, & extruders. I attended several inspections from the FDA as a resource & as a learning experience. I was trained & followed CGMP (current Good Manufacturing practices). I cleaned & inspected vessels used for making Pharmaceuticals. I wrote Standard Operating Procedures, Unit commissioning procedures, & Unit decommissioning procedures I trained operators on some complex procedures & unit operations. I was also used to train several new operators on a one on one basis after they had completed Plant orientation. I was part of a select group (4 operators) that made catalyst for the unit. I am trained in LOTO & energy isolation. I created & followed vessel/equipment blind lists. I wrote permits for hot-work & confined space entry.  I was trained, licensed, & drove a fork truck for 25 years. I have been trained in Hazmat loading/unloading of trucks & railcars. I was the first liaison between operations & maintenance where I ensured equipment was prepared by operations for scheduled work. We were able to completely work through over a years’ worth of backlogs in five months & still maintain operations as scheduled. I spent 5 years on the Plant Fire Crew. The last year was as a fire truck Driver/operator. I was one of three People that helped with design changes for a new unit, train Chinese operators in unit operations, & then travel to China to build & commission that unit. That Project took a little over a year to complete with about 6 & 1/2 months overseas in China.

I worked for a plastics/Pharmaceutical/Chemical plant for 30 years. I was classified as a chemical operator for 25 years. I was trained in fork truck operations & operated both driven & walk behind fork trucks for over 2 decades.I was trained in working with hazardous chemicals. I loaded & unloaded both finished product & hazardous chemicals in both trucks & railcars. I was a step-up (relief) superviser for over 12 years. I wrote SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for over 15 years.  

I was part of 4 unit startups & one unit decommissioning. For the 4th unit startup, I was part of a 3 man team from the US for over a year that planned unit design, performed operator training, & in the last 6 ½ months supervised unit construction, lab design & operation, & commissioning the unit in Nanjing China. 

I graduated High school, then worked in several companies where I have over a total of 40 years of experience learning & teaching several processes. I am computer literate in process control, Word, Excel, power Point, & SAP.
