    Everglades Equipment Group | John Deere Dealer | Landscape Supply Entry Level Logistics Coordinator Service Department Apply for this position Supports sales and service departments by profitability managing pickup and delivery ofequipment.

    Centralized contact for scheduling all equipment requests received from Sales Managers, Sales professionals, Service Managers, and Service Advisors.

    Job Responsibilities Unload and load equipment on or off trucks per customer or sales professionalsDetermine items to have PDIed and moved to the frontOrganize the lot and manage inventory every monthManage the serial numbersAnswer phones, texts and emailsOrganize the lot, equipment, pallets, inside building and other related itemsCall customers and schedule day and times for pick up or deliveryCheck inventory daily to see what needs to be completed, put away, brought to the front, etcOptimizes vehicle assets to improve routing and capacity, ensuring timely pickup and deliveriesCommunicates accurate pickup/delivery dates and details with internal and external employeesEnsures compliance with federal, state, and local transport and vehicle regulations, reporting andpermitting processesManages lifecycle of equipment, aids in determination of transportation needs and required capabilities within budgetMay participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledgeJob Requirements Understanding of delivery logistics and regulatory delivery practicesMust be organizedMust be able to lift 50lbsExperience working in a fast-paced team environmentKnowledge of basic computer applications, Microsoft programs as well as scheduling applicationsBasic machinery and vehicle capability knowledgeExperience communicating effectively verbally over the phone and in person, as well as in writingHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
