Spherion Staffing of Lake & Sumter County has an opening for a Logistics Coordinator to join a busy and growing Manufacturer located in Eustis, FL.

If you are a dynamic Logistics Coordinator to optimize supply chain efficiency and streamline operations. Join our team and play a pivotal role in orchestrating seamless logistics solutions for maximum productivity and customer satisfaction.

This is a temp-to-hire position.

The schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and the starting pay rate is $18 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Prepares bills of lading and supporting documentation for shipments
Completes information on damage claims for in-transit damage
Obtains freight rates and communicate rates to customers, ensures best rates are available
Obtain and track freight charges / rates / lane bidding for lanes that require company to pay freight
Understanding and able to complete international shipments
Verify physically all the material received in terms of lot numbers, quantity and quality of package
Print drums/ingredients labels for all the product received according to shipping documents and COAs
Keep updated all data entry in the system as needed
Shipping of finished goods and other materials
Participates in quarterly inventories and weekly cycle counts
Maintains area to meet SQF and GMP requirements
Able to work occasional weekends, holidays, and evenings
Carefully and accurately maintains shipping records for requested categories including goods returned, dunnage, and returnable pallets

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:

Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance.
Must be able to traverse distribution warehouse and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.

Education:
High School

Experience:

1-4 years

Qualifications:

Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the warehouse, loading dock and freezer.
Forklift Certified
