- Responsible for all aspects of the power supply design and development for RF and High frequency/microwave products. Responsibilities include system power distribution and module level design and definition, schematic capture, circuit design, derating, and Worst-Case Analysis (WCA).
- Responsible for defining EMI/EMC requirements and implementing methods to meet product requirements
- Prepare and present engineering design concepts and data results for IDR/PDR/CDR
- Estimate task schedules and budgets (BOEs) for programs, proposals, and IR&D efforts
- Support internal peer design reviews, design verification testing of engineering unit and oversight of design through production
- Bachelors Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- 6+ years of direct power supply design experience
- Prior or current professional experience with EMI (Electromagnetic Interface)
- Experience within the aerospace industry
- Familiarity with transmitter and receiver architecture and design
- Simulation experience with some of these tools: PSPICE, INTERSIL ISIN, LTSPICE, OrCAD, PADs
- Bench level troubleshooting and test equipment experience
- Understanding of EMI/EMC requirements and implementation methods to meet product requirements
- Experience with the challenges associated with designing space qualified hardware and an understanding of analog and IC circuit design are preferred

Step forward and join a fantastic team of electrical engineering professionals designing highly advanced aerospace products We are seeking an experienced Power Supply Design Engineer with a strong understanding of analog circuit design with emphasis on DC-DC Switched Mode power supply design and development. This requirement includes Fly back and Feed forward DC-DC converter design capabilities with low (<10W) and high (<200W) DC input power requirements.
