We are looking for a
Building and Grounds Worker to work for our client, a banking institution on Long Island.

In this role you would be responsible for the upkeep of the buildings and grounds of banks.

This is a
full-time direct hire position paying
$20 an hour.


Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Perform building maintenance tasks including trash pick-up, spot cleaning, window cleaning, restroom maintenance, power washing, and distribution and recovery of critical equipment and components.
  • The position is mainly located in Bethpage but there is the possibility of traveling to any of their branch locations based on the needs of the work orders. A company vehicle will be provided. Locations are spread throughout Long Island.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify cleaning service deficiencies and maintenance concerns such as lighting, plumbing, and electrical issues.
  • Ensure van maintenance by completing, submitting, and logging inspection forms, as well as managing van storage and removal.
  • Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies and complete Monthly Task Sheets.

Qualifications:


  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, climb, kneel, and lift over 50lbs.
  • Must be able to travel and enter/exit a vehicle without assistance.
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.

Pay:
$20.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

  • Bethpage, NY 11714: Relocate before starting work (required)
