$23-32/hr depending upon experience


Schedule:

This position has the ability to make its own hours to get small projects done.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to add a part-time position or an independent contractor who is looking for additional work.

Landmark Recovery operates Residential Treatment Programs for individuals with Substance Abuse Disorder.


Responsibilities

The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for building maintenance and upkeep of the outside grounds, parking lots, lawns, and gardens of the building until it is ready to open.


The Building Maintenance Technician will:

  • Assure that the facility is well maintained
  • Receive, prioritize, distribute, and carry out work orders for small maintenance repairs
  • Manage vendor bids and work, and seeing that the services are performed by the outside contractors, for pest control, trash pickup, systems testing, etc.
  • Manage facility grounds landscaping including, routine mowing, keeping the beds clean, and small trash pickup as needed.

Qualifications

  • HS, GED or equivalent experience
  • Experience with building maintenance and routine repairs
  • Competency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with contacting outside vendors preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Personal passion or interest in substance abuse issues strongly preferred
  • Commitment to drugfree lifestyle and responsible alcohol use is essential
  • Authorization to work in the US is required
