Position

We are hiring a full-time Administrative Assistant to support a busy outpatient physical therapy clinic focused on getting people back to their lives We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented, and customer-service oriented individual to perform these duties while helping craft the ultimate patient experience.


  • Two years medical office administrative experience. Rehab experience a plus.
  • Two years experience using an EMR medical software and patient scheduling system required
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office, including accurate typing and data entry skills.
  • Knowledge of medical insurance authorizations and verifications preferred
  • Ability to interact with physician office staff, insurance providers, teammates, and patients
  • Excellent work habits with close attention to deadlines and detailoriented assignments.
  • Work independently with provided instructions
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Responsibilities

  • Answer phones and be the perfect first interaction with our clinic
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Collect payment and coordinate with billing department
  • Obtain insurance authorizations
  • Perform office supply inventory
  • Perform patient registration
  • Assist with completion and transmission of all daily, weekly, and monthly financial reporting as needed

Education/Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some college preferred
  • Medical insurance knowledge is preferred
Clinic is open Monday through Friday, closed on weekends and for most major holidays.
