- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of the company's technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and data centers
- Ensure the security and integrity of the company's data and systems, implementing best practices and security measures to prevent unauthorized access or breaches
- Develop and manage IT budgets and expenditures, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies, and recommend strategies for adoption or implementation
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that IT solutions and systems meet business needs and objectives
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- At least 5+ years of progressive IT experience leading up to IT leadership roles, with a track record of successfully managing complex IT projects and teams
- Extensive experience with IBM iSeries or IBM System i, including experience in programming, deployment, configuration, and maintenance of these systems
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, virtualization, cloud computing, and security best practices
- Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Experience administering an ERP system
- Experience working in a manufacturing industry
- Experience working in a chemical manufacturing industry a plus
