Requirements:
- 18 years or older
- Current (or expecting to be) student at a college or university
- Must be available to live on campus the entire week
- Experience working with children (preferred)
- Must pass background and reference checks
Expected availability:
Stetson University Camp (Deland): June 9-15
AND/OR
Florida Atlantic University (Jupiter Campus): June 16-22
Job Description:
The camp counselor will be in charge of a variety of tasks involved in ensuring that the campers have a fulfilling experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Making sure the girls are on time for meals, classes, activities, etc.
- Helping to remind and enforce camp rules.
- Assisting teachers in core courses and workshops.
- Assisting other staff members when necessary during classes/workshops/field trips/night time activities.
- Participation in university/college night.
- Ensuring a nurturing environment in order to facilitate learning.
Must be available for interview.
Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary
Pay:
$500.00 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Ability to Relocate:
- Jupiter, FL 33458: Relocate before starting work (required)
