- Provide comprehensive care to patients with various cognitive and speech-related disorders, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
- Implement rehabilitation techniques to enhance patients' overall health and well-being.
- Demonstrate personal accountability for organizational values and mission.
- Conduct thorough assessments of referred patients using established departmental guidelines.
- Administer relevant diagnostic tests such as dysphagia, aphasia, and cognitive assessments.
- Deliver diverse therapeutic interventions focusing on swallowing, speech, and cognitive functions.
- Develop customized treatment plans with realistic goals in consultation with patients and their families.
- Execute therapy sessions according to guidelines, ensuring alignment with patient and family objectives.
- Hold a Master's degree in speech-language therapy with a Certificate of Clinical Competence.
- Possess a valid Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Maintain a valid Speech Language Pathologist Certification in the State of Colorado.
- Uphold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of two years' experience delivering direct patient care in inpatient or outpatient settings.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
