    Key Responsibilities (Job Summary):

    • Provide comprehensive care to patients with various cognitive and speech-related disorders, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
    • Implement rehabilitation techniques to enhance patients' overall health and well-being.
    • Demonstrate personal accountability for organizational values and mission.

    Contribution to the Team:

    While the role encompasses various responsibilities, employee flexibility is appreciated.

    • Conduct thorough assessments of referred patients using established departmental guidelines.
    • Administer relevant diagnostic tests such as dysphagia, aphasia, and cognitive assessments.
    • Deliver diverse therapeutic interventions focusing on swallowing, speech, and cognitive functions.
    • Develop customized treatment plans with realistic goals in consultation with patients and their families.
    • Execute therapy sessions according to guidelines, ensuring alignment with patient and family objectives.

    Qualifications:

    Essential Requirements:

    • Hold a Master's degree in speech-language therapy with a Certificate of Clinical Competence.
    • Possess a valid Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
    • Maintain a valid Speech Language Pathologist Certification in the State of Colorado.
    • Uphold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

    Desirable Qualifications:

    • Minimum of two years' experience delivering direct patient care in inpatient or outpatient settings.
    • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
