    Description
    Responsibilities:
    • Director of Strategic Communications executes the digital strategy to promote and enhance the reputation of the Buccino Leadership Institute. Responsible for managing a multi-disciplinary team of writers, editors, content creators, and social media platform managers. Responsible for upholding the quality and brand standards across all platforms (website, Instagram, and Twitter).

      •Monitor and assign tasks to team members such as article writing and other content creation tasks

      •Regularly communicate and check-in with social media platform managers

      •Brainstorm social media campaign ideas and weekly article topics for website

      •Represent the Strat Comm Initiative whenever a representative is needed

      •Meet regularly with team members and the Executive Director to establish team goals and expectations

      •Maintain balance of work with each team members' skills, availability, and preferences

      •Perform duties and tasks as directed by the Buccino Leadership Institute Executive Director
    Qualifications:
    • Experience working on a communications team for a for-profit/non-profit organization

      •Proficiency in writing and editing

      •Understanding of social media best practices

      •Ability to anticipate and plan for future needs/obstacles

      •Ability to lead a group of peers

      •Ability to adapt to change

      •Ability to manage many moving parts and projects
