    **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

    Responsible for delivering World leading integrated, and bespoke, player monitoring and management plans to all first team players.

    Responsible for leading and coordinating the programming and delivery of gym-based strength and conditioning, and end stage Return to Play sessions, for the first team.

    Lead on the implementation of bespoke movement assessment screening and gym-based profiling and develop individualized movement correction and development programs.

    Lead and co-ordinate the Fitness and Rehab team to ensure alignment and integration between the first team, MLS2 and the Academy.

    Assist the Director of Sport Science on the programming and delivery of all on-field conditioning, warm-ups, speed development and individual development sessions for the first team.

    Collaborate with the Director of Performance, Director of Sport Science and Head ATC to ensure all players receive individual physical programs, monitoring and management to track player development.

    Collaborate with the Head ATC, Director of Sport Science, Performance Nutritionist and Performance Psychologist to develop and implement optimal recovery strategies.

    In collaboration with the Director of Sport Science, assist in the development of a centralized AMS system to optimize physical data visualization and interpretation specifically in the RTP process, as well as to house data to assist in the LTAD of all players at the club.

    Support and develop staff to become industry leading practitioners through a consistent performance review process.

    Travel with first team to provide support during Away games.

    Work collaboratively with the Performance and Medical team to provide Multi-Disciplinary support to the players.

    Attend and assist with workshops, in-service meetings, professional development courses/workshops and other development opportunities.

    Under guidance of the PD collaborate in the review, development and co-ordination of Applied Sport Science, internal and external, research projects, contributing to an evolving World leading High Performance support program.

    Perform other duties as assigned or required.

    **Qualifications:**

    Bachelors degree in Health-Related or Exercise/Sports Science field.

    Masters degree in Health-related or Exercise/Sports Science or Performance related field.

    Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the field of elite sports performance.

    Applied soccer experience preferred (exception may be granted for experience in other professional sports).

    CSCS, UKSCA or equivalent.

    Enthusiastic and energetic team player.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Possesses a strong work ethic and friendly demeanor.

    Knowledge of MLS and international soccer.

    Possess exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize/multi-task.

    Experience in utilizing sports science technologies such as: Polar, VALD (NordBord and ForceDecks), and Kitman Labs

    Ability to communicate effectively using a variety of media with diverse audiences

    Proficient in Microsoft applications, knowledge of current technologies and commitment to remain up to date with industry best practices

    High ability to exercise sound judgement and discretion

    Bilingual (English and Spanish) fluency preferred.

    Ability to work extended hours and weekends and holidays when required.
