The American Board of Radiology (ABR) is an independent, not-for-profit organization and is one of 24 national medical specialty boards that make up the American Board of Medical Specialties.

We were founded in 1934 to protect the public by assessing and certifying doctors who meet specific educational, training, and professional requirements.

The ABR is seeking a professional, customer service focused, and detail-oriented Exam Services Specialist to join its team.

The Exam Delivery Specialist is part of a team responsible for coordinating and facilitating all aspects related to the administration of ABR's exams.


This position is located in Tucson, AZ and is eligible to work a hybrid remote/in-office schedule. Don't worry if the position tasks are unfamiliar to you. Our work is specialized but we can train the person with the right skills and personality.

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Generate annual schedule of all ABR exam event.
  • Coordinate and facilitate ABR's oral and computer-based exams including
:


  • Communicate with AEDs and Trustees to recruit examiners and schedule required examiner orientations and content review.
  • Participate in UAT for all software products related to exam administration.
  • Supervise oral exams and handle all administration issues that arise during the exam.
  • Coordinate with other departments to plan for and administer exams
:


  • Determine and communicate needs to CSD, IT, Finance, Meeting Planning, and Exam Services
  • Schedule and conduct exam preparation and debrief meetings

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree or appropriate other equivalent experience preferred
  • Ability to learn and implement existing processes and find areas of improvement as necessary
  • Welldeveloped organizational skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office, specifically, Excel
  • Experience with data file manipulation
  • Experience with data validation and QA process
