- High School diploma, High School Equivalency diploma (HSED) or (GED).
- Bilingual skills preferred.
- Spanish
- Minimum of one year of related clerical/administrative experience, with a strong emphasis on record keeping, tracking, and contact with the public preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with families in crisis.
- Strong computer literacy, database, spreadsheet, and word processing, Internet and e-mail.
- Must obtain a valid Iowa Driver's License, and proof of insurance and maintain it throughout the duration of employment.
- Must be cleared and allowed to work in a childcare setting by the Iowa Department of Human Services, by completing a State of Iowa Criminal History Record Check and FBI National Fingerprint Record Check.
