Overview:
We are seeking an IT Technical Support Rep - Intern As a member of the Client Device Support (CDS) team, you will provide limited technical support and other administrative duties, as directed by the IT Technical Support Specialists and their supervisors. This position is intended for individuals pursuing education in Information Technology careers and can be used to complete internship or other work-study requirements.
Location: Onsite- Allen Hospital, Waterloo, Iowa.
Hours: Monday-Friday, Daytime

Responsibilities:Under direction from IT Technical Support Specialists and/or their supervisors:
Education: High school diploma or GED and enrollment in post-secondary education towards a degree in Information Technology or related field.
Experience: Requires experience with personal computers
Licenses/certifications: Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons
Knowledge/skills/abilities: Basic knowledge of computer systems and software Requires strong oral and written communications skills to effectively work with all levels of management throughout the UnityPoint Health, its subsidiaries and affiliates. Must have basic telephone and typing skills Ability to work as a team member, creating and maintaining effective working relationships Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures
Other: Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position
