Position Overview
We have an exciting opportunity to join the expanding Asset Protection team.

Reporting to the Director of Asset Protection, the Asset Protection Analyst will identify, investigation and prevent losses here at Kendra Scott.

Responsible for the identification/investigation of loss opportunities and maintaining/creation of shrink or damage reporting, the Asset Protection Analyst will be an important member of the Asset Protection team.


FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Analyze, compile, organize and interpret data from various systems.
  • Initiate and/or actively participates in all facets of the investigative process related to criminal acts, violations of company policies or areas of vulnerability.
  • Conducts data analysis to logically identify opportunities for improvement of shrink reduction programs and risk assessments on opportunities of known and unknown causes of losses.
  • Creates adhoc reporting, either selfstarted or as requested, and determines the relationship between the data sets to reasonable deicide on next steps.
  • Uses all available channels of intelligence gathering to develop risk assessments that accurately communicates these risks to department leadership.
  • Maintains current knowledge of industry information and trends and makes recommendations for process changes to ensure best in class practices related to Theft and Fraud mitigation/prevention.
  • Manages confidential information and documentation as required by the Company, State and Federal Laws.
  • Maintains a high degree of working knowledge of Policy and Procedures such as Store Operational, Store Asset Protection, Corporate Data and/or Corporate Security Procedures.
  • Builds effective relationships throughout the organization both corporate and field facing.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • 5+ years of retail loss prevention, security or asset protection experience.
  • 3+ years of advanced Exception Based Reporting experience to include building queries and/or strong SQL knowledge.
  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and interpretation. Ability to identify, distinguish and analyze components of problems, making logical and complete conclusions.
  • Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, computers, business, or related field. Relevant work experience can be substitute for education.
  • Knowledge of advanced interview training and investigation techniques; Wicklander Zulawski certification required, CFI preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Training and presentation experience with proven interpersonal and customer relations skills.
  • Advance experience with Microsoft Office 365 products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
  • Ability to work a flex schedule to meet business needs, including nights and weekends.
Ability to travel with possibility for little to no prior notice.
